Yeah! The exam of this semester was completed in yesterday! The previous three weeks were really hard and I had to work hard for both work and study. Anyway, it is over now.
The working environment is getting suck. A project is planned to be launched on 23rd December but it seems that it is impossible to achieve this goal. Poor project management from my direct supervisor, poor communication among users, vendor and my team and bad project planning are major factors for delay. Users always changed their mind and the vendor had to take extra time to follow the changes. Thus the time consumed was much longer than what we expected. Moreover, my current direct supervisor is just a replacement for my previous direct supervisor who was pregnant at that time. My current supervisor spent too much time for documentation and I had to follow his tasks such as updating schedule and reporting to manager. I was a primary staff and I had no power to influence the other parties.
It was hard to study for exam under such working environment as I often needed to work overtime for catching up the schedule. The timing of project launch is not the "right" time to me. Luckily, I do not need to work during Xmas.
Time flies fast and the year end is coming. I hope we have a better life in 2011.
